Soziolinguistika Klusterrak Urtxintxa eskolarekin eta Topagunea euskara elkarteen federazioarekin garatu du hain konplexua den gazteen hizkuntz erabileraren fenomenoaren azterketa. Gazteekin lanean esperientziadun jendea, gaia maila teorikoan landu duena eta ezaugarri ezberdinetako gazteen arteko hausnarketa partekatua du oinarri azterketa honek.

Hizkuntzaren erabilera, konplexutasun handiko gizarte fenomenoa da. Pertsona bakoitzarengan gurutzatzen diren hainbat faktoreren elkarreraginetik sortzen da pertsona horrek hizkuntza batean edo bestean hitz egiteko duen joera. Aldi berean, gazteena ere konplexutasun handiko gizarte sektorea da. Haurtzarotik helduarorako bidea egitea da gizatalde honek komunean duen ezaugarria, baina horrez gain, gazterian neurtu ezinezko aniztasuna topa liteke pentsaera, iritzi, ohitura eta jokaerei dagokienez.

Gazteen erabilerarekin harremanean jartzen den edonori (kanpaina bat egin nahi duena, egitasmo bat antolatu nahi duena, kirol elkarte batean gazteekin diharduena,…) fenomenoaren alderdi ezberdinak presente izanik usteen eta iritzietan oinarrituta baino, bere jarduna oinarri sendo baten gainean burutzeko baliabideak eskaintzea litzateke helburua.
